Louvre Hotels Group, the 10th largest hotel group, worldwide and second largest in Europe, has announced expansion plans for Indonesia, projecting up to 30 new hotels within the next three years under the Golden Tulip and Premi\u00e8re Classe brands.<\/p>\n

The announcement marks a further commitment to the destination following Golden Tulip\u2019s entry into the market in late 2012.<\/p>\n

Since then it has opened the 138-room Golden Tulip Galaxy Banjarmasin, with a further six hotels with an additional 1,286 rooms scheduled to open this year.<\/p>\n

Louvre Hotels Group chief executive officer, Pierre-Frederic Roulot, visited Jakarta especially to make the announcement.<\/p>\n

Expansion plans include three hotels in the booming tourism destination of Bali \u2013 Golden Tulip Devins, Seminyak, Golden Tulip Essential, Denpasar and Golden Tulip Jineng Tamansari, Kuta \u2013 as well as Golden Tulip Essential Pontianak in West Kalimantan and two properties in Bandung, the Golden Tulip Kalyana, Buah Batu and the luxurious five-star Royal Tulip Bandung, Baros, Cimahi.<\/p>\n

The expansion will also include the unveiling of the Premi\u00e8re Classe brand. There are 10 hotels in the pipeline in Indonesia including one of the biggest Premi\u00e8re Classe hotels in the world to open in Bandung in 2016.<\/p>\n

Roulot said there was high growth potential in Indonesia where a company such as Golden Tulip could offer owners the assurance of international management expertise and distribution and the recognition of a strong brand.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are delighted to be revealing our plans for Golden Tulip and Premi\u00e8re Classe brands in Indonesia. The strong economy and solid long-term outlook will fuel greater business opportunities and travel in the country will become greater,\u201d said Roulot.<\/p>\n

Golden Tulip Hospitality Management Southeast Asia managing director Mark Van Ogtrop, added: \u201cI believe Indonesia as the 10th largest economy in the world will become one of the most important and attractive markets for hotel chains and I am confident we will be successful, offering value to owners and employment opportunities to local staff,\u201d Mr Van Ogtrop said.<\/p>\n

Indonesia is also the largest economy in ASEAN followed by Thailand in second place.<\/p>\n

\"Golden<\/a><\/p>\n

Louvre Hotels Group, based in Paris, France, was established in 1976 and since 2005 owned by Starwood Capital Group from USA and as of July 2009, Louvre Hotels is allied with the Golden Tulip Hospitality Group. As an International player, the group currently ranks in the position of the 8th largest hotel group worldwide.<\/p>\n

In Asia it has hotels China and Thailand. Worldwide it has1,100 hotels, representing a capacity of over 80,000 rooms in more than 40 countries.
\nGolden Tulip Indonesia currently has one hotel in operation, Golden Tulip Galaxy Banjarmasin which opened in December 2013 with 138 rooms.<\/p>\n

In 2014 the group will open another six hotels:<\/strong>
\n1. Golden Tulip Devins, Seminyak, Bali Opening in June 2014 with a total of 108 rooms in Bali\u2019s hip lifestyle area in Seminyak.<\/p>\n

    Golden Tulip Essential, Denpasar, Bali Opening in August 2014 with a total of 94 rooms in the business district area of Denpasar.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Golden Tulip Jineng Tamansari, Kuta, Bali Opening in October 2014 with a total of 185 rooms and located on Sunset Road.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Golden Tulip Essential Pontianak Opening in November 2014 with a total of 186 rooms and located in the business area in Pontianak.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Golden Tulip Kalyana, Buah Batu, Bandung Opening in December 2014 with total of 302 rooms with easy access to business or industrial areas.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Royal Tulip Bandung, Baros, Cimahi Opening in December 2014 with total of 411 rooms with easy access from Jakarta as it is located just across from the exit of the toll road.
