{"id":2055,"date":"2014-03-24T09:00:35","date_gmt":"2014-03-24T09:00:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/indogomagazine.com\/indogo\/?p=2055"},"modified":"2014-05-07T01:05:22","modified_gmt":"2014-05-07T01:05:22","slug":"panasonic-solar-system-karimunjawa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/indogomagazine.com\/indogo\/panasonic-solar-system-karimunjawa\/","title":{"rendered":"Panasonic Solar System for Karimunjawa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Panasonic develops stand-alone PV power system<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s Power Supply Container generates and stores solar energy, and is ideal for for rural off-grid areas.<\/p>\n<p>Japanese eectronics giant Panasonic has this week unveiled a new stand-alone solar power system that the company claims is ideal for use in rural areas lacking access to electric power generation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/indogomagazine.com\/indogo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Panasonic_Power_Supply.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-2056\" alt=\"Panasonic Power Supply\" src=\"http:\/\/indogomagazine.com\/indogo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Panasonic_Power_Supply.jpg\" width=\"420\" height=\"auto\" srcset=\"http:\/\/indogomagazine.com\/indogo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Panasonic_Power_Supply.jpg 535w, http:\/\/indogomagazine.com\/indogo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Panasonic_Power_Supply-300x140.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 535px) 100vw, 535px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Power Supply Container comprises 12 Panasonic HIT 240 solar modules and 24 lead-acid batteries, controlled by a patented energy management system that oversees the generation and storage of 3 kW of solar electricity for self-consumption.<\/p>\n<p>The Power Supply Container has already been snapped up by a school on the Indonesian island of Karimunjawa as part of the Project to Improve Elementary Education and Alleviate Poverty by Providing Electricity \u2013 which was selected and financially backed by the Japanese Embassy in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/indogomagazine.com\/indogo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/panasonic-solar-container.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-2057\" alt=\"panasonic solar system\" src=\"http:\/\/indogomagazine.com\/indogo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/panasonic-solar-container.jpg\" width=\"420\" height=\"auto\" srcset=\"http:\/\/indogomagazine.com\/indogo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/panasonic-solar-container.jpg 833w, http:\/\/indogomagazine.com\/indogo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/panasonic-solar-container-300x180.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 833px) 100vw, 833px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Power Supply Container has been designed to enable quick assembly that requires no onsite professional construction work.
